General conditions for booking and using the services of San Domenico Ski & Snowboard School.
1. Who we are
Ski and snowboard lessons are provided by Scuola sci San Domenico, VAT no. 01478930033, registered at Frazione San Domenico, 28868 Varzo (VB), Italy, San Domenico Ski & Snowboard School. Contact: info@scuolascisandomenico.it.
2. Bookings
Bookings are made through the form on the website, by phone or by email. A request is confirmed only once you receive our confirmation. If the requested time is not available we will offer the closest alternative. A lesson lasts 55 minutes; lessons run between 9:30 and 16:30.
3. Payments
For organisational reasons lessons must be paid in advance, at least 15 minutes before the start. Failure to pay in advance or to notify a delay results in cancellation of the booking. Prices are those shown on the Prices page at the time of booking. Ski pass and equipment rental are not included unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel or reschedule a lesson by letting us know as soon as possible and in any case at least 48 hours before the start; otherwise the lesson may be charged in full. If lifts are closed or weather or safety conditions make the lesson impossible, the lesson will be rescheduled or refunded. Specific conditions for packages and promotions are shown on the relevant page.
5. Weather and safety
Lessons take place in any weather compatible with safety. Decisions on suspending or changing the programme or location of a lesson are up to the instructor. Participants must follow the instructors' directions and the rules of conduct on the slopes (Italian Legislative Decree 40/2021). Helmets are recommended and mandatory for under-18s.
6. Liability
Skiing and snowboarding are sports that involve risk. Each participant declares to be physically fit. To the extent permitted by law, the school is liable for damages only in cases of wilful misconduct or negligence, and is not liable for unattended personal belongings. Minors must be handed to the instructors and collected on time by a responsible adult. Mandatory insurance coverage and consumers' non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
7. Personal data
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile remain competent. For any dispute you can contact us at info@scuolascisandomenico.it.
